DESCRIPTION
A Dot Cup is a reusable menstrual cup worn in place of tampons to collect rather than absorb menstrual fluid. It is made of medical-grade silicone and can be safely worn for up to 12 hours and used for years. You're actually purchasing 2 cups! For every Dot Cup purchased, one is given to someone in need.
Includes one Dot Cup and one storage pouch.
One Size:
Specifically designed to fit most bodies. Dimensions fall between most other cup brands sizes 1-2.
Cleaning:
After each use, wash with gentle soap and water, or if in public, simply re-insert and wash when you return home.
Between cycles, to fully sterilize your Dot Cup you can boil in water for 5 minutes, let it cool/dry, and place back into your storage pouch until next cycle!
MATERTIALS
Menstrual cup is made of medical-grade silicone. Free of latex, BPA, bleaches, phthalates, or toxins.
END OF LIFE
A menstrual cup can last for years. But when it’s finally time to get a new cup, it can be burned to ash. Medical grade silicone is derived from silica, which is found in sand. While silicone is made through a chemical process, it is made from natural materials, so the ash left behind isn’t harmful to the environment. We recommend tossing into an outdoor fire, as silicone alone won't hold a flame well.
The Dot Cup packaging is a combination of aluminum and cardboard. Take the aluminum base and lid off, then throw everything into your curbside recycling.
